A Benton man was arrested on a warrant connected to a road rage incident that took place in Calloway County.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said that on April 7th a driver called them and reported that another vehicle pulled out in front of him on KY 121 and then stopped suddenly. The driver pulled alongside the other vehicle to see if there was something wrong. The stopped driver was later identified as 38-year-old Michael Elder of Benton. The other driver alleged that Elder got out of his vehicle shouting and maliciously causing damage to the victim's vehicle.

A warrant was issued for Elder's arrest following the incident charging him with menacing, criminal mischief, and driving on a DUI suspended license.

Elder was picked up on the warrant Tuesday by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. He was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
